Living Room Tours
Ever wanted to have (lumin)theater lab perform a show in your living room? With this new & innovative show experience coming soon, it could happen sooner than you think!
Allow (lumin)theater lab to bring theater into your living room with our mobile productions. We provide the entertainment, and you provide the location, and perhaps even the audience!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Throw a party! Hosting a Living Room production is like having a house concert, or a Mary Kay party.
--Invite friends that would enjoy an intimate (and we mean, really intimate) evening of theater.
--Prepare the way you would if you were having a party - set up chairs, refreshments, etc. And Host Away!!
WHAT DOES (lumin) DO?
We will coordinate with you ahead of time and we will bring a full-length show to your location. We bring almost everything we’ll need with us. There won’t be any special lighting or sound effects; the performance is self-contained. We might have to use a sofa, or a furniture piece or two, but it will be minimal.
There is just one more detail . . . how does (lumin) make ends meet?
There are a couple ways that we can make this happen:
--(lumin) will set up a ticketing service and you can direct your guests to purchase a ticket through the website.
--We could do a combination of your invited guests and advertising to others (of course, you’d have to be comfortable with strangers in your house).
--The host could sponsor a show by paying a fee upfront.
All of the funds go back into (lumin) in order to bring you the best, most innovative theater experiences we can provide. We want to make theater as accessible as possible to everyone while still maintaining responsible fiscal stewardship to the company. With that said, (lumin) does reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a date if the minimum is not guaranteed. We will work with you on possibilities to achieve success!
Right now, we are looking for living rooms to host a production of Don Nigro's "Seascape with Sharks and Dancer" in April or May of 2019. (However, this might not be the only time that we produce a theatrical experience like this so if these dates don't work and this sounds like something that you want to connect with us about in the future, please let us know).
If you are interested in getting more information about this project, we would love to hear from you - shoot us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org (or go to the contact page here on our website and send us a message).
Please allow us up to 48 hours to get a response to you.
